ORGANIZATIONAL PROFILE 

HELP FOR HOPE, PEACE BIGIN WITH YOU 

GREENLING PEACE AND CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION was registered under the national law of ZAMBIA  (Act No. 10 of 2017) PACRA Registration number 120230053854 as a non-profit organization, on 23rd day of July 2023.

 Greenling peace and charitable organization  we are committed to help in changing socio-economic and health status of the community especially the poor, illiterate and vulnerable population particularly the women and children. We will create new generations of families capable to promote human rights and peace education for their children from their early ages, GPCO intervene straight with families and communities for the purpose of creating a better community for all without letting anyone behind. Moreover, the partnership approach that links our organization to local and international institutions offers opportunities to enhance GPCO potentials to better serve vulnerable youths, families and communities.

YOUTH EMPOWERMENT AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT 

  • Through this program, GPCO provides opportunities for young people to be self-reliant, productive leaders and engaged citizens. We believe that educated and engaged young people possess power to solve the toughest problems facing communities. Therefore, every young person deserves the opportunity to realize his or her full potential.

YOUTH EDUCATION FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM 

  • The Organization strives to support and improve child and youth performances and retention in schools

PROMOTING GOOD GOVERNANCE, DEMOCRACY AND PEACE BUILDING PROGRAM 

  • Enhancing and expanding youth both girls and boys participation in decision-making, democratic structures and peace consolidation processes.

 HEALTH AND WELL BEING

  • d) Fight against drugs and drug abuse within youths

  • g) Workshop on HIV/Aid`s and diseases of dirty hands
  • h) Prevention of child abuse and neglect
  • I) Campaigns against traditions that hinder modern health and promote hospital delivery

WOMEN EMPOWERMENT

Women are targeted through initiatives aimed at;

  • Empowering them with information, skills and values on how and where to find help when faced with gender based violence in the family
  • Empowering them to deal with gender stereotyping in the society;

HUMANITARIAN AND VOLUNTARY SERVICE OUTREACH 

  • Voluntary service in the fields of action include social - serving handicapped, elderly or marginalized people, cultural work, development projects, reconciliation, education, environment protection, grassroots initiatives etc.
