With a rare and dynamic blend of spiritual authority and academic excellence, Prof. Dr. Songwe holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Theology and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Peace Education, reflecting his deep intellectual and spiritual commitment to both divine principles and global harmony. His academic journey is further enriched by multiple honorary doctorates, professional certifications, and scholarly recognitions, positioning him among respected voices in theological and leadership education worldwide.

In addition to his theological and humanitarian engagements, he is a qualified Electrical Engineer and serves as an Electrical Lecturer, demonstrating a unique interdisciplinary approach that bridges science, education, and ministry. His ability to integrate technical expertise with spiritual leadership distinguishes him as a multifaceted leader in both academic and practical fields.

Prof. Dr. Bishop Kennedy Songwe currently serves as a senior international academic and ecclesiastical leader, including his role as International Executive Director and Chancellor of Christian Ministerial Training University (CMTU). In this capacity, he has played a pivotal role in shaping ministerial education, mentoring emerging leaders, and strengthening institutional frameworks across continents. He is the founder and leader of Greenling Global Peace & Charitable Organization, a humanitarian platform committed to advancing peace initiatives, community development, and social empowerment. Through this organization and other institutional engagements, he has led numerous initiatives aimed at uplifting communities, empowering youth, and fostering global partnerships for sustainable change.
